yes - http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/social-discuss/ (but it takes a couple of hours to update)
W3C (ok a bit of a fanboy here) have an X-archived at header in emails, which allows you to point at an email, such a feature would be great.
Bit of a fanboy too - & agree, was looking for that header yesterday to link out to some mails that were coming to the group, but couldn't so gave up.
