Subject: [social] accounting

I am responsible for the basic accounting books of a not for profit
organization that
holds a building for various lodges. We rent out the main part to a business
in order
to pay for the upkeep etc of the building. We have also rented out some office
space to a charitable organization for basically costs.

What I am looking for is a general ledger or cash accounting software to help
with
the books. There are less than 50 entries a month. We basically keep a cash
method except for what is required by the government. A new wrinkle is the
tax,
similar to VAT, called GST in Canada (Go South Tax, or Gouge and Screw Tax).

Any suggestions on applications?
I have briefly looked at TurboCash, Quicken, and Lazy 8.

Chris
