I did not know that this could be done.  I thought that it should be able to be 
done.
I searched the net for "live CD", and found that there were others available, 
the best 
appear to be Ubuntu, MEPIS and Gnome.  However, MEPIS site did not show 
where to download one to be burned on a CD.

Could you point me in the right direction.
