I blame the tool vendors -- Snap-On, Craftsman, etc .Every set of wrenches
or sockets I've ever purchased has some of both system in it, and naturally
they have to charge more that way.
( Seriously, it's inertia combined with insularity and an economy big enough

Logically you may be right. Ain't never going to happen though. Historical
accident arising from the fact that the name of our country consists of
three common words ("united", "states", and "of") and one proper noun
("America"). If you want to blame anybody, consider the foreign (to us)
press. It's not like folks generally get to choose their own nicknames!

Shrub is a moron. Even members of his own party don't want anything to do
with him this election cycle. The Reps have already lost three House seats
in special elections in districts that were formerly considered safe for
them including the seat occupied by former Speaker Dennis Hastert in
Illinois. It's going to be a well-deserved bloodbath come November and I'm
loving every minute of it!
