I'm going to uninstall FF 3.0, and reinstall the earlier version,
because less than 10% of the extensions I have, work for 3.0. Which
means that the amount of typing I do is tripled, if not quadrupled.

I had this same problem. Fortunately, the deal killer for me was the
Sage RSS reader which hhad been abandoned as a project. Fortunately, a
group of folks came along with a SageTwo reader which duplicated the
functionality.

I still miss the Firebug add on. It has not been updated for FF 3.0,
yet.

My problem is in the PDF add-ons.
I cannot get any of them to open a PDF file
in a tab or window. Adobe will not open them
like it did for v2.x

Also for the first few restarts/fresh starts, I could not
get v3.x to even download the PDF's properly. Today
it works, for some reason. I even tried to download a file
that I placed online myself.

Now I am told there is a high rated security bug for both v2.x and 3.x
and FF is working on a patch.

All in all, I will keep with v3.x for awhile. Lets see if it works
better over the next month, and see if the add-ons will be
updated to v3.x soon. About 30% of the ones I use did
not work, yet, with this newest version. Most of the
critical ones did though.

ALSO, I have been told the 24 hour download number is about 8 million. The current total number is over 12 million.
