Since translation bots have been mentioned, I'd just like to point out our
lovely effort.

Come on over to the buddycloud.com system and find langbot in the opentoall
muc channel. (you can see this channel on the buddycloud homepage via the
widget)

He translates as much as possible in groupchat from other languages to
English, using the google translate api.

try "Who is langbot ?"

Ok, I'm biased, I wrote it.

Google has translation bots on jabber for quite a while now; at least
a year maybe two?
They come and go.  I use them occationally.  For example english to
russian: [email protected]
The others have similar names.
