Well, we have a working end to end prototype, with server component, web client and mobile client. Already 30,000 lines of code. Al this will be open sourced in a couple weeks, when we have more stability of the core. They are too many standards, talking, discussions, etc about the social web and not any real implementation. This is exactly what we want to achieve: an open source, community driven, answer to the closed silos that are Fb, Twitter, Myspace, etc... With respect to status.net, we me @evan at FOSDEM and he likes our approach. We'll work with him to integrate as much as possible.
