ಮಿತ್ರರೇ, ಹುಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಮಗುವು ಪೂರ್ಣ ಜ್ಞಾನ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಥವಾ ಅಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದುವೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಕಲಿಕೆ. ಅರಿವು ಇಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವುದು ಸರಿಯೇ. ಅರಿವು ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ನಮ್ಮಂತಹ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬರುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು ಯಾರು? ಗುರು. ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ - ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎಷ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದರೂ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಖಂಡಿತಾ ಈ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ನಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮಂತಹವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವುದು ಸಹಜ. ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥ ನಾನು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಲು ವಿಫಲನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಲು ನನ್ನ ಅನುಭವ ಸಾಕಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಲು ಇನ್ನಿತರೇ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕ ಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು , ಆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯೇ ನಿಸ್ಪ್ರಯೋಜಕ ಎನ್ನುವ ತೀರ್ಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ "ಗುರು"ತನದ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳಿವೆಯೇ? ಹಾಗಾಗಿಯೇ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನೆ ' ಹಿಂದಿನ ಗುರುಕುಲದ ಬದ್ದತೆ' ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆಯೇ ಎನ್ನುವ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದು? ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಯದ ಒಂದು ಮಗು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಗುರುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಲಿಯುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದಾದರೆ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ದೋಷವಿದೆ ಎನ್ನಬೇಕಲ್ಲದೆ ಮಗುವಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಲೋಪ ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ನಾನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಿಂದ ಪಲಾಯಣ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲವೆ? ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾದ ಕಲಿಕೆ ವರ್ತಮಾನಕ್ಕೆ ಅವಶ್ಯ ಎಂದೇ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಷ್ಟೊಂದು ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರು, ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಬೇಕು , ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಉದ್ದೇಶವೇ ಹಾಳಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮಾತನಾಡುವವರು ಅಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಲೋಪದಿಂದ ಕೂಡಿದೆ , ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
