Hi, I'm attaching the patch because usually it's commented applied on this list. If you like it in-line LKML style just say so. I tested it as much I was able to, but my CAN setup is very limited (just 2 nodes) and my knowledge of error states of the CAN bus quite primitive (for example I discovered by chance that when I disconnect the bus the mcp2510 goes in rx error passive and when I short-circuit it goes into tx error passive and then bus off). Any more testing is much appreciated, thanks.
