Dear Benone, there is currently a discussion about two FlexCAN drivers (from Hans-Jürgen Koch and Marc Kleine-Budde) on the SocketCAN Core Mailinglist. http://developer.berlios.de/mail/?group_id=6475 You should try the driver that was posted from Marc https://lists.berlios.de/pipermail/socketcan-core/2010-June/004409.html which is currently in discussion but already should work for your purposes. I wonder if your FlexCAN driver that comes with your "embedded Linux" already supports the SocketCAN netdevice driver model.
I put the SocketCAN ML on CC as you will find the FlexCAN specialists here :-) Regards, Oliver ________________________________ Von: Benone Ionescu [mailto:[email protected]] Gesendet: Sonntag, 6. Our embedded system is based on the FREESCAL ARM 926 processor and is supplied with a Linux 2.6.31 operating system. The embedded Linux has a FLEXCAN driver, CAN_RAW and CAN_BCM driver. In this moment I try to develop an application to communicate via CAN bus with an CAN slave (a driver for an MAXON motor) using CANFestival and CAN sockets (CAN RAW) but for instance I encounter difficulties. I would like to know if you have a CAN stack which I could use with FLEXCAN driver. Sincerely yours, M Benone Ionescu _______________________________________________ Socketcan-core mailing list [email protected] https://lists.berlios.de/mailman/listinfo/socketcan-core
