Hy guys, i hope this mail is not off-topic. I am trying to patch a 2.6.27 kernel to get it updated with a mcp251x driver (for a ARM9 board with a mcp2515). Unfortunately it's not clear to me, where and how to get a patch and how to use it. There is something like svn and git, but finding precise information about how to do this is difficult. In case using my prefered 2.6.27 kernel would be a problem, a 2.6.30 would do this too (but a higher version will be a problem).
