I am sure you are doing and thanks for that. My help was to give the
infos about the warnings. That's what i can do for the SocketCAN
community at the moment.

It is the "testing"-target kernel of my Debian 5.04. I used this kernel
version, because i was not able to compile the SocketCAN sources against
the "stable"-target kernel 2.6.26-2-686 due to errors (as far as i
remember the kernel version had to be >2.6.28).

I hope so. I am not using the module myself, so i am not waiting for it...
