Hello,

I am new to socketcan and socketcan mailing list.

I am working on a ronetix-9263 board with an atmel's AT91SAM9263 which has
a built-in CAN. The Linux Kernel used is 2.6.28 and is patched for
socketCAN. All the can modules have been built into the kernel. The kernel
comes up neatly.

When I try to bring up the CAN interface with command --> "ifconfig can0
up", I am getting the following error
"ifconfig: SIOCGIFFLAGS: No such device"

Support for CAN in platform specific files in arch/arm/mach-at91 directory
is enabled.

I have attached the dmesg of for reference.

Where am I going wrong. Thanks in Advance
