Hi everyone!

I'm developing a project (my school graduation project) in a company and I want to implement the CAN bus communication. I'm using the board ARM-57TS-LPC3250 from Future Design, Inc. with a LPC3250 and using the Linux Target Image Builder (LTIB) to create the kernel images and all related. I notice that the MCP251x driver is available in the kernel main-line since version 2.6.33. Nevertheless, I'm currently using a kernel version 2.6.27.8 with the LTIB.

I'm wondering how can it be to add the driver to my old distro? I could prefer this because the configuration and support files are preset to be used with this distro. Do you have any tip / hint that can help me to implement the driver in my distribution?

I'll appreciate any help form you.

Best regards.
