Hello :) Yesterday I got my shiny new net5501. I would therefore like to pool some facts and also some questions
* the disk led works * using PATA as Primary and FLASH as Secondary works * Error-LED doesn't work. Any help? * Watchdog doesn't work. Any help? Also, does this mean, I can only use UDMA/33 on my box? "hda: host side 80-wire cable detection failed, limiting max speed to UDMA33" Or should I try to override by using hdparm -X? Is a 80 pin cable available at all? does it make sense? Other than that, I am very happy, the migration from a net4801 went very smoothly, at first I just had to compile VIA_RHINE into the kernel, and from there on I could build a completely customized one. So if anyone wants to migrate, don't forget this module or else you might make yourself some unneccessary pain (kernel compile via serial or once again disassemble the HDD from the Soekris). Other than that the kernel boots very nice.
