I cannot tell about voyage, but here is some general advice...

If it fits your needs, you can mount the partitions on the CF card
with the option "noatime", which decreases the writing a bit (file
access times aren't recorded). You could also try turning off
journaling if you use a journaling filesystem, however I have to admit
I don't know how much of an impact this has.
You could also try turning off unneeded services or reduce them to a
minimum, like configuring syslog and the others to log only really
important stuff, if at all.
