Yeah, I noticed that also; though others have reported PXE booting to address 
that.

I was intrigued by the on-board LM75, as explorations into NTP temperature
compensation had piqued my interest. But all things considered, I think going 
with
the 4501 and retrofitting a temp sensor via the GPIO header will result in a 
more
satisfying (and less risky) approach.
