I also have very much the same questions about the rackmount
availability and battery solutions which might be associated with it.
I anticipate purchasing a net6501 for personal use when the rackmount
solution is available.  (I even have a browser tab to the Soekris
cases page open which I refresh daily :)

In the instances where I've used net5501's in datecenters in the past,
a rackmount case with internal battery providing minor power
disturbance mitigation (vs. redundant power supplies) would be a
welcome improvement.
