Last night I stayed up fairly late trying the wiki instructions with
cu and sz.  Tried over a real serial port also (was using usb<->serial
at first.)

Using uManager's download command also, since the instructions said
comBios's update code wasn't quite working in my version.

When I was using minicom, I was set to the correct serial settings as
far as I could tell and asking for an xmodem transfer seemed to be
invoking a program whose name I can't recall right now, although I
could not tell whether or not it was using CRC.

I'm at work again now, but I plan to look at it later tonight.
