To update the Bios itself, with a pure simple download command function, first
looking
for a newer version at Soekris and then the bios shows you up the new version
and gives
us a download option, would be very cool. Perhaps with an onboard soldered TPM
modul
for having an encrypted tunnel to the Soekris comBIOS update server, to secure
the
connecting and let us getting clean and uncompromised code.

Or downloading the newer com Bios, store it on an USB Stick, stitch the stick in
the USB
port during the next boot process you be ask for updating it.

Not in the Bios, but a CD/DVD USB boot option should be nice!
Or the support of DeLock SATA to CF Card bracket support, would be a fine and
wicked thing.

Apple is offering both, the hardware and the OS or do you mean Soren should sit
down and code a "Soekris OS" perhaps?
And where you want to store the download local or at a network path.

Downloading an OS ISO image and storing it on an external USB DISK and install
it from there would be even also a very nice option, is it?

Kind regards
