I installed Voyage Linux 0.8.5 in a 4GB CF card this week, inserted it
into a Soekris net5501, and it worked perfectly...

The CF-card is a Kingston Ultimate 133X 4GB (not entirely new) ComBIOS
recognizes it as the primary slave:

: Pri Sla ULTIMATE CF CARD 4GB LBA Xlt 1007-128-63 4062 Mbyte

So VL 0.8.5 does actually work in a net5501. I have no clue why it
does not work in your case... :-(

I have not tried that.

Cheers,
Anders
