Hi,

I am new to SIP implementation. I came across Sofia SIP project while
searching for open source SIP implementation. I have downloaded the Sofia SIP
library and client from source forge site. The objective is to use the SIP
source provided in sofia ( if possible) as such or after necessary
modifications, in a SIP stack implementation part of a larger application. I
have gone through the documentation provided at
http://sofia-sip.sourceforge.net/development.html, but I am not fully sure
about the points given below.

1. Am I allowed to do this , if I retain the headers of the original files
intact ?

2. After going through the source files I find that I am unable to locate the
source of actual implementation which handles incoming SIP messages like
INVITE , REGISTER, etc? Are they really there in the downloaded files as source
code or are they in some binary form?

3. The files have been downloaded sofia-sip-1.12.5.tar.gz from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=143636&package_id=157769
. Is this the right place to download for the code for the above purpose?

Can someone please help me?

Regards,
Deepa
