Category: None Group: None >Status: Closed >Resolution: Fixed Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Erland Lewin (erl) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Hang when sendto fails in tport_check_trunc Initial Comment: In libsofia-sip-ua/tport/tport_type_udp.c, function tport_check_trunc, su_sendto is called to send the "TEST" message. On my Linux machine, this fails with the error EPERM (due to iptables NAT configuration - no connection tracking has been established, I think). However, the code doesn't check the return code from the sendto, thus hangs (waits forever) in the su_recvfrom. I realize maybe my NAT configuration should be changed, but in any case the code shouldn't hang, but return an error, or fail with an error message. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- >Comment By: Pekka Pessi (ppessi) Date: 2007-08-21 16:39 Message: Logged In: YES user_id=52043 Originator: NO Thanks for reporting this.
