Hey there,
I recently posted a question about how to suppress the automatic response
sent by NUA upon receipt of a BYE request, because in some cases I needed to
include a payload in the response. Shortly after I found the answer was the
NUTAG_APPL_METHOD tag.
But there's also the case in which I must include a payload in the ACK to an
error response I may get for an outgoing INVITE. The NUTAG_AUTOACK tag
documentation states "that ACK is always sent automatically by lower layers
of the stack after receiving an error response 3XX, 4XX, 5XX or 6XX". Since
NUTAG_APPL_METHOD can't help me here, what should I do to include a payload
in the ACK in such cases?
