Hi all,
I am searching for a way to forward some audio signal from a linux pipe to a
phone.
I have the impression that sofsip is very close to my need :
- I already have an SIP account which can call real phone (From my ISP
neuf telecom).
- I read some people succeded connected to "neuf telecom" voip with it
The question mark for me is : Can it actually read audio from a pipe,
instead of a microphone or whatever.
The system would be run on a headless server, a vlc instance taking care of
picking up the audio stream from a regular streaming, encoding it if needed
and then feeding sofSIP afterward.
I have very basic C programming knowledge but never did object programming
so I am bit bit lost in the code.
Would you know either how to do that or an direction for an easy hack that I
could implement to reach my goal ?
Best regards,
timothe jahan
