I installed sofia-sip and trying it through empathy with @ekiga.net account. Empathy first hangs for a while with "Connecting..." status and later says "Disconnected -- Network error".
How can I understand what is the reason of the failure? None of the environment variables described in http://sofia-sip.sourceforge.net/refdocs/nua/index.html (like SOFIA_DEBUG) seem to matter. I don't get any debug printouts.
