The guy I got the PCB from has the clock set up using the same 125Mhz crystal oscillator used in the IQ-VFO and IQ-Pro and is running it through a tripler circuit from Experimental Methods in RF Design ... it hasn't been properly tested yet but if it doesn't work I'll go with a lower frequency butler overtone oscillator clock like used in the 9951 circuit for the PIC a STAR transceiver
Actually I'm using a balanced/push-pull Norton circuit in my testbed ... well I was before I snagged it for a Wellbrook loop clone project ... it's a slightly modified version of Dallas Lankford's circuit http://www.kongsfjord.no/dl/Amplifiers/Ultralinear%202N5109%20And%202N3053%20Amplifiers.pdf JR --- In [email protected], "jabauzit" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Hi JR, > > I was just reading something about J310 preamps and forgot about the > Norton Amp which is better. > Waiting to see your results with the dual 9952.
