I went looking for more information on JR's comments about the noise figure, on the Internet.
I found a site called "RFDesign" for engineers. They cover topics such as Software Defined Radio and I/Q Modulators. They offer a free hardcopy RFDesign monthly magazine to the industry and sign up will not doubt also bring you knowledge of url's and software sites. As well as publications on parts and samples. They also cover topics regarding MIL SPEC applications of the emerging wireless technologies and SDR is in the emerging catagory. I noticed that they have a section devoted to SDR at their site listed in the main catagories so I expect they will run allot of features over time on the topic. This then may be a publication we can gleen info from and get caught up on the numerous concepts behind SDR and the various devices. Just search engine RFDesign I was going to copy the url when Netzero decided to run supper slow on me and I had to manually turn the PC off. I always have a 50/50 chance that once I download an Adobe PDF into the browser Netzero will crash on me. So I like to upload a PDF when I can remember in zip form so they do not open up in browsers while online and save someone else the trouble of downloading if they have that same problem. _____________________________________________________________________ PrivatePhone - FREE telephone number & voicemail.
