Many thanks for your response.

I shut down all my anti-virus software (AVG and ZoneAlarm) plus one or
two other background programs including the Ethernet connection but
the sysmptoms remain the same.

Installation ok but upon running Winrad nothing happens. "Taskmanager"
confirms Winrad.exe is running but with 0% CPU usage.

Very strange, I will keep trying and see if I can find any additional
clues to the problem.

This is the first time I have attempted to run Winrad on this
particular PC. All previous versions of Winrad worked on my older
system very happily. I will try installing Winrad to my old system at
the week-end and see if it works.
