While waiting for the boards and parts for the first five units, I'm running a comparison between my FT-817 and the LD-1 prototype by using Faros to compare the SNRs of each while monitoring the NCDXF beacons on 20 meters. The only beacon I can receive consistantly right now is YV5B in Venezuela. On the LD-1 it's running about 2 to 5 dB SNR, while the FT-817 pulls it in at about 2 - 5 dB also. Some sunspots would be very nice!
I've posted a larger version of the one photo I currently have on my blog, and will post several more soon showing it from several angles.
