The one improvement we'd like to see is for the animation editor explorer to 
only show the object and it's animated parameters while cutting out all the 
inbetween junk.  The default 2013 SP1 settings accomplish this, but only for 
parameters that belong to the object.  Parameters belonging to applied 
properties such as texture projections, custom properties, and so on require 
the user to select the property to see their animated parameters.  Softimage 
should be smart enough to collect all those parameters and include them with 
the object's parameters.

You just outlined the standard settings for practically every animator I know, 
and the defaults for Maya ;)
They should be the software default, if they aren't, really.

Have you tried selecting the parameters and making sure there set to keyable?

We've been stuck on Softimage 7.5 for the longest time.  Now we're testing 2013 
SP1 and have hit an issue we cannot find a solution.

In Softimage 7.5, if an object contained a texture projection with animated UVW 
parameters of the projection's _Def property, selecting the object would make 
all the animated parameters visible in the animation editor.

In Softimage 2013 SP1, selecting an object only shows the object in the 
animation editor.  The user has to drill down to the individual properties and 
select them manually in the scene explorer before they'll show up in the 
animation editor.  Huge workflow killer.

Anybody know the proper levers and switches to throw to get the Softimage 7.5 
behavior back?
