Actually this is a pet peeve of mine. ;) Drives me batty when the students go crazy and end up with 15 top level menus rather then just a few with a few sub levels. Maya was even worse, took 4 plugins and your top menu is done. By default plugins should be a installed into the same Main Level menu (e.g. Plugins!) I know you can customise it but it still irritates me ;)
