It's perfectly possible to rename some properties, parameters or clusters
and seeing a graph that behaved before still behave with the old names
displayed but looking up the old hooks.
Until you reload, that is, that's when things will go (as they should) down
the crapper.

Copying -> deleting -> pasting the entire graph is often as good as
re-assemblying from scratch, and on par or some times better than reloading
the scene.
