We dont use Vray, but RoyalRender...
Check this file:
...\render_apps\_setenv\win\softimage.bat
Make sure to set the correct Workgroup-Paths here for your Version of XSI.
So for example:
(Assuming you have a Networkdrive (X) where your Vray-Workgroup is located)
[...]
:2014
Set "WorkgroupPath=X:\Workgroups\Vray_2014"
goto done
[...]
PS:
Also make sure (in rrConfig) to connect the NetworkDrive
