File size limit?

Hello everyone. I just wanted to know if it's true that SI files have a 
size limit. I'm working on a file I cannot save. Every time I try to, 
Softimage tells me that certain elements were not saved, and that I 
should contact Softimage. If I try to open said fail, SI crashes almost 
immediately. People here at work are telling me that apparently, SI 
cannot save/load files over 2 GB. I just wanted to confirm this is true 
so I can take appropriate actions. Thanks!
