Sure. Each forum requires a special login and they all look and act differently. Have to navigate there in my browser, login, click through topics, subjects, pages etc.
Contrast this with a mailing list that is delivered to my inbox and I have a rule that gets files the messages away in a folder. When I am compiling or have a few seconds I pop to my email client (which is always open) and read a few messages. They are nicely threaded and I can delete the ones I have read so I am only ever seeing unread messages etc. You can't switch to an online forum quickly and pick up where you left off as easily in my experience. -- Brent -----Original Message----- From: softimage-boun...@listproc.autodesk.com [mailto:softimage-boun...@listproc.autodesk.com] On Behalf Of Leendert A. Could you perhaps elaborate a bit on that? -- Leendert A. Hartog - Softimage hobbyist AKA Hirazi Blue - Administrator @, NOT the owner of si-community.com
