I think it will be fine for those interested. The offer was abruptly ended due after it became "public."
I'm interested in knowing where MODO will be in two years. I have no reason to stop using Softimage in the near future, but once the question of "Maya vs Another DCC" becomes more urgent, then directions will have to be determined. Anyway, as far as the offer goes, here is a snip from an email Brad sen me recently: _________________ _________________ Sorry for the slow response. Yes the deal is still available for those who are interested. If, after the eval, you want to join the MODO community please let me know and we can get you taken care of. Also, I am trying to get a webinar setup in a week or two. I think that will go far to help clear up the history of MODO and why I think the architecture is of interest. Tim Crowson will post info about the webinar once I get it lined up. _________________ _________________ Judging from that I think it's pretty clear that this community will still have a chance to get MODO at a discount if they so desire.
