Softimage at Siggraph?

Back when the wounds of the "retirement" of Softimage were still fresh, 
there was some talk on this list about ensuring some kind of presence 
for Softimage at this year's Siggraph.
Is something like this "still in the works", however minimal this might 
be, or has this died as being too impractical?
