It just popped up a box saying this operating system is not supported and when
I clicked okay it disappeared , nothing in the log that I could see.

Very odd, never seen it before.

Kind regards

The 2015 setup.ini says

#==================== Platform Requirement

OSMAJVER=6
OSMINVER=1
SPMAJVER=1

and I don't think the Home version has a different OS version number.

So the [unspecified] issues are most likely something else.

Did you check the install log in %TEMP%?

Hi all

I am having some issues trying to install softimage onto Windows 7 Home
ultimate. (one of our students laptops)

On the Autodesk Site softimage 2014 and 2015 both say Windows 7 Pro, but I
am definitely able to install Softimage 2014 onto the laptop.

Anyone know if they enforced the Pro requirement for 2015?

Kind regards

Angus
