my sarcasm, those are the exact reasons why it -didn't-
really-really need to buy (and kill) shake.
They bought it, made it for Mac (and Linux) only, made a version or two, and then ditched it. Not unlike Soft which also wasn't really-really needed by a company with already 2+ DCC's. (could have bought Naiad to make an ICE clone without sacrificing Soft, it wouldn't have had more or less chances of becomeing a good clone) But I don't understand ditching (compared to other ways of getting rid of things) , except of course when ditching is the reason to buy something, any of which I find very-very selfish. Hopefully TheFoundry will find a better home who will value their products (and the communities around them) and that they will be complimentary to what they already offer.
