*Position Summary: *
We have an immediate opening for a Technical Lead well versed in Windows
Mobile Application development. This person will coordinate and contribute
to all IT project management and QA activity for mobile device development.
This person must also have excellent communication skills with an
enthusiastic and entrepreneurial personality.
*Key Responsibilities:*
- Work closely with Business team to gather requirements
- Design, implement scalable technical solutions and develop Windows
Mobile applications to meet the business requirement within the approved
architecture set forth by the Software Architect.
- Communicate cross-functionally through the organization including, but
not limited to, software architecture, project management and business
owners.
- Perform code reviews and implement standards and best practices.
- Perform unit and integrations testing
- Prepare technical documents and provide technical support for other
team members
- Manage delivery of both functional and non-functional requirements as
part of the technical solutions.
- Maintain a knowledge base of emerging technologies and products, and
provide training to the technical team.
- Provide guidance and oversee the quality assurance of program logic,
data processing, and error resolution.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance group members to solve software
defects

This position is given the latitude to monitor, evolve and establish
development practices and activities related to the creation and expansion
of business critical applications within the company's production
environment. As a lead resource, this position will often direct and/or
influence the development activities and practices of less senior resources
and may receive delegated responsibilities from a Development Manager.
*Minimum Job Qualifications:*
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 2+ years industry experience developing wireless applications using
Windows Mobile technology WAP (Wireless Application Protocol)
- 3+ years of Technical Lead experience
- Bachelors degree in computer science / Information Systems is required
- Strong C++, VC++ and UI and graphics programming experience
- Experience working with latest technologies: XML, SOAP, WAP, HTTP,
TCP/IP
- Proven ability to turn ideas and concepts into carefully designed and
well-authored code
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong communication skills: verbal and written
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally within IT, other
departments, and partners.
- Expertise with software design, development, and testing within the
framework of the product development process.
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of architecture to product
scalability.
- Strong team player, good work ethics, commitment to quality and team
work
- Must be able to operate in a fast paced environ
