*Qualifications:*

 - Must have 5 + years of recent UNIX Sys Admin experience with Sun Solaris
(version 2.8, 2.9. and Solaris 10)
 - Must have direct experience and knowledge of imaging and configuring
systems (jump start/FLAR)
- Should have a strong understanding of low level Solaris OS processes and
services. This includes kernel parameters and OS tunables.
 - Experience with OS tools and scripting (various shells, creating,
troubleshoot, etc) - Must have a strong understanding of the OS patching
process and package installations
- Must have vendor certifications with UNIX operating systems,
administration and HW support. (Solaris, SUN, Fujitsu) - Experience with
SPARC III and SPARC IV / IV+ hardware including SUN V490's, SUN 6900's, and
large enterprise servers such as SUN F15/25k.
 - Experience with Veritas Cluster Services, Veritas Foundation Suite, and
native Solaris filesystem managers
 - Working knowledge of NFS Filesystems, EMC Powerpath, SAN Storage, NAS
storage, and Netbackup

 *Responsibilities:*

 - UNIX System Administrator position with the National UNIX Build Team.
- Responsible for installation of OS images (Solaris) and configurations on
new/repurposed equipment adhering to AT&T standards.
 - Work with various groups and vendors on the installation/configuration of
HW within the National Data Centers.
 - Responsible for complete system builds including OS installation, network
configurations, filesystems layouts, third party tools, and test/validation.

- Represent the UNIX Build Team on multiple assigned projects working with
groups such as Engineering, Security, PMO, and Application/Business teams.
 - Provide support to the Application groups in the installation and testing
of those components
- Ensure systems builds and configurations are properly tested and validated
before systems are released into Production
 - Create and update necessary documentation associated with system builds
and configurations.
