IT

This position will be responsible for managing a 5-member IT Infrastructure
team.  This team is responsible for  network administration, helpdesk
issues, event and crisis management, hardware/software inventory and
licensing, departmental budgeting, capital expenditures, IP addressing and
security & disaster recovery planning.  The IT Infrastructure Manager will
partner closely with the Manager of Application Engineering and CFO to
define and develop an IT strategy.



The successful candidate must provide strong leadership and direction, excel
at multi-tasking and have the ability to ramp up quickly in a dynamic,
high-tech environment.  The successful candidate will possess a combination
of hands-on management experience and in-depth technical skills.







*Responsibilities*

   - Manage helpdesk technical support function in a 24/7 environment.
   - Ensure the prioritization and scheduling of all tasks.
   - Oversee problem escalation and ensure a timely resolution.
   - Manage and coordinate on-call rotation to ensure appropriate support
   throughout the week.
   - Manage and oversee preventative maintenance in Hardware/Software
   replacement, upgrade, patch distribution, inventory and services of
   workstations, equipment, printers and peripherals.
   - Ensure software licensing compliance through regular auditing of
   installed software.
   - Evaluate and recommend software/hardware alternatives and direction.
   - Manage the configuration, deployment, maintenance and security
   processes for all mission critical servers including web servers,
   application servers and database servers.
   - Manage the troubleshooting of problems across LAN, WAN, server and
   desktop connectivity, operating systems, and application anomalies with
   various teams.
   - Develop and maintain Information Technology budget including both
   expenses and capital investments.
   - Design, implement, maintain back-up and recovery procedures and
   disaster recovery plans
   - Manage and maintain security for all internal network systems.
   - Establish policies, procedures, and standards with regard to hardware,
   software, network, operation systems and other media.
   - Lead, manage, and direct the work and performance of all staff members.

   - Conduct performance evaluations and counseling of staff members;
   resolve conflicts between staff members.
   - Perform interviews and hiring of new staff members.
   - Perform other duties as required.



Requirements

   - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to
   work effectively with all levels of the organization.
   - Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines with
   varying degrees of technical experience.
   - Strong leadership, development, coaching and mentoring skills.
   - Excellent knowledge of technical infrastructure (networks, server
   administration, and help desk capabilities).
   - Prior experience in Microsoft server technology environments including
   experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, WINS, DMZ configurations, and
   domain design.
   - Experience managing offsite data centers.
   - Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix,
   etc.).
   - Experience with multi-domain networks.
   - Ability to oversee and provide active vendor management.
   - Ability to effectively manage a sizable departmental budget.
   - Experience
   - Minimum BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or
   equivalent.
   - Minimum 7-10 years prior IT experience supporting multiple server
   environments with a large (>300) user base that includes both local and
   remote users.
   - Minimum 3 years management, supervisory or leadership experience.
