This project consists of migrating the various scheduling/batch tools in the environment to the defined standard tool, UC4. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of job scheduling best practices and methodology, is self motivated, highly technical and self managed, and is able to work in a global environment. The responsibilities include working with the project team to convert job schedules from one tool to the standard tool. Strong technical, organizational, written and oral communication skills in a global environment are required. *Required SkillS:* * At least four + years of related job scheduling experience within a large-scale environment. * Knowledge of *UC4 Batch Scheduling Software* required. * Demonstrated experience in batch-conversion and migration related activities within different scheduling toolsets. * Demonstrated ability to deliver within specific timeframes set forth by an over arching project plan and customer required migration windows. * Demonstrated abilities to work with outside vendors to coordinate batch conversion activities including testing of batch to ensure desired outcome has been obtained from one toolset to another. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both written and oral media. * Demonstrated ability to work in a global environment. * Knowledge of scripting in *korn shell, born shell, Perl, SQL* or any other language a plus as this may be required to facilitate large scale batch conversion activities to meet tight timeline. * Good system administration skills in Sun Solaris, Windows (XP, 2003 and 2000), and HPUX. * Knowledge of *Service Center* a plus. * Ability to actively and precisely track all project related activities.
