Sr SQA Engineer Duties/Responsibilities of Position: - Lead the day-to-day activities of the Quality Engineering team by defining, implementing and maintaining a coherent, progressive testing strategy for the our Service Automation product line and Integrated Solutions across product teams. - Define test strategies and test case plans for Quality Engineering testing activities in concert with development and program management efforts. - Develop and execute automation testing strategy and processes. - Drive and manage the bug triage process, represent Quality Engineering in project meetings to ensure efficient testing and bug fixing process - Exercise judgment within defined policies, procedures and practices to determine appropriate action thus being an effective advocate for the Quality Engineering group - Report on status of product quality to development, customer support and product teams via rigorous execution of detailed test plans/cases and accurate reporting of test cases executed, bugs discovered, bugs fixed, etc. - Work with remote team members as well as remote cross-functional teams during project execution. Skills Required: - 8+ years of Software Quality Engineering experience and a proven track record of delivering high quality commercial enterprise products. - 2-3 years experience as a Senior QA Engineer for a complex enterprise product. - Strong troubleshooting technical skills knowledge in IT products env - Assertive individual who knows how to help drive Quality Assurance process maturity and is able to clearly communicate goals, decisions and recommendations to other stake holders - Experience working with multi-site teams, including offshore development sites - Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing, automation, scripting language as Perl, Python , shell - Strong QA leadership, organizational, process skills and overall thorough understanding of SQA methodologies. - Knowledge of enterprise application solution products that provide infrastructure automation for IT such as Data Center Management, Configuration Management, Compliance and Policy Management. - Experience with multiple platforms (Windows, Solaris, Linux, HPUX, AIX), Object-Oriented Programming languages (C, C++, C#), Web Server/ Application Servers, Databases (SQL or Oracle required), Performance testing tools (LoadRunner, SilkPerformer), Test tools (Silk Test, QTP, QC,), - Experience to develop automation strategy as well as contribute to the design/maintenance and testing using automation scripts , monitor, troubleshoot and communicate test automation runs and results. - Experience in Testing Analytical Engines, web server , web technologies is a plus - Good communication both orally and written and good time management skills in order to help meet internal and external project milestones - Work well under stress and handle multiple qa tasks in order to deliver within product schedule Desired Skills / Special Qualifications: - BS in Computer Science or equivalent. - Experience with implementing successful automated testing strategies and tools, programming languages Java/J2EE, C#, C/C+ +, Perl - Experience in SQA of .NET, Java, UI, distributed/scalable systems, and high-volume transaction applications - Strong QA leadership, organizational, process skills and overall thorough understanding of SQA methodologies Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
