Software QA Engineer This is a Contractor Software QA Engineer position within a dynamic, fast paced and focused team. In order to be an effective team member you will have expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools, and the agility to operate within short release cycles. The SQA Engineer is responsible for understanding the specifications, designing and running all tests. Responsibilities: * Write test plans * Write and execute test cases * Send status reports on testing progress * Participate in release management activities * Participate in production monitoring of issues * Identify bug trends and drive resolution process * Keep management informed of progress and escalate issues when needed Experience and Skills: * * Expert in Web Front End Functional testing using existing automation tools * Experience in designing and developing test strategies and harnesses for enterprise class high performance, high availability software systems where functionality is delivered through the web-browser * Agile and pro-active - can work with ambiguous specifications, hectic schedules and rapid changes detail-oriented and patient have worked on a product that was released to the public * Good understanding of Web architecture and technologies * Good understanding of programming issues, challenges and pitfalls * Familiar with scripting in Ruby, Perl, Python, or similar language * Excellent problem solving and communication skills * Working knowledge of TCP/IP, Apache, Linux, Shell scripting, XML, HTML, JavaScript * B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science or equivalent * At least 3 to 5 years of enterprise testing experience Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
