software testing Engineer · Participate in the functional specification, design and validation of system features and enhancements for a groundbreaking data storage technology. · You will be called upon to leverage your creativity and technical knowledge to enable us to release rapid product iterations while driving towards a very high level of release quality · You will be required to work in an environment where high motivation, energy, collaboration, a commitment to knowledge sharing and mentoring are key attributes for success. · Document defects and ensure verification of resolutions * Actively participate in daily Scrums and project planning meetings; Help manage the scrum team's test case inventory by accurately identifying high priority use cases / edge cases * Ensure comprehensive test coverage by participating in escaped defect analysis to identify deficiencies and improvements in the automated tests * Identify automation opportunities to streamline regression testing · Coordinate with customer solutions team to develop an understanding of customer configurations and usage patterns in order to match system integration procedures to customer experience and expectations · Minimum 2-4 years of software testing experience * Strong understanding of SQA methodologies, techniques, automation frameworks and tools * Windows/Linux OS administration, networking protocols and modern file systems * Configuring test environments on multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux) * Ability and tenacity to solve increasingly complex technical issues through analysis and a variety of problem-solving techniques * SDK testing and/or commercial software testing * Experience in performance, reliability and/or network testing · Test experience in an agile development environment * Python or other scripting languages with demonstrable experience in applying these skills to testing * Experience with project management tools, such as Rally Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
