Senior QA Test Engineer • Understands technical design specifications, defines test conditions, develops accurate and complete test plans, and conducts/coordinates testing according to plan. • Creates test cases that test to break and "Thinks outside the box," attempting to simulate user behavior that the software developers did not anticipate • Responsible for the overall success of testing, including result verification and release sign-off • Performs QA duties with little supervision • Provide analysis and recommendations to the engineering team • Leads and coordinates personnel to test, evaluate and validate new functions and applications • Produce executive reports upon request • Helps develop, set up, and manage test environments • Ensures the development process has an appropriate level of testing • Employs experience in cross-functional relationship management in working with development and other technical teams. • Bachelors degree in Computer Science and 6+ years of relevant experience • Understanding of software testing types and methodologies, including white, black box testing; regression, negative, system, unit testing, UAT, etc. • Ability to execute database queries to validate field and table data using SQL, TOAD, or similar tools • Ability to create Automated Scripts for regression or performance tests • Minimum of 3 years experience in providing testing estimates • Minimum of 3 years experience providing project plan details, writing test plans and detailed test cases • Minimum of 3 years experience in detail analysis of Requirements and creating Traceability Matrix • Broad knowledge of computer systems and technical environments required • Computer skills, including using a workflow and issue reporting system • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills • Understanding of Visual Studio Team Foundation Server • Programming experience such as C#, C++, Visual Basic • Knowledge of Visual Studio 2010 Test Framework, Testing, and Guidance Process Templates for TFS • Experience in the Healthcare industry/domain Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Software Quality Assurance Center" group.
