Hello Sebastien,

Sorry for the slow response -- we have a slightly strange set-up when it comes to Red Hat projects as we have a sort of main group contact (or umbrella contact if you wish) for the many projects you guys keep in your hats! I have had a brief chat with Tom Callaway (spot) who is "our guy at Red Hat" and I have added the channel to the list of RH projects!

I've added yourself (sbadia) as the GC for the #softwarefactory namespace itself and transferred the channel to your nickserv account so you can update the access list and do all that other jazz as you see fit. Should you wish to wear softwarefactory/* cloaks all you need to do is prod one of us in #freenode (staff are all voiced) or PM (or of course drop us an e-mail to [email protected]).

If your project participants require dual cloaks (e.g. redhat/softwarefactory.nick or similar) then it would be great if you passed any such requests via Tom (spot).

I have not added cshwede, fbo, mhu and tristanC to the access list for the channel but you now have the privs to do so yourself! Please do not hesitate to prod one of us if we can be of any further assistance!

Happy hacking!

Cheers,
Christel

Hello Freenode projects team,

[message initially send to support@ but thanks to charitwo, needle here :-)]

I'm wondering if it's possible to update access list on #softwarefactory channel
in order to regain operator/founder rights on this channel?

# 1 freenode-staff +AFRefiorstv (FOUNDER)

Software Factory is a FOSS project developed by eNovance, and now Red Hat.
The project, (also called SF), is a collection of services that provides a
powerful platform to build software. It’s designed to run on an OpenStack-based
cloud but it can also be used standalone without features related to the
cloud-like tests environments.

Don't hesitate to ping us on irc for more informations.
For access list update, you can give founder rights to us (cschwede, fbo, mhu,
tristanC or me (sbadia)).

This email is signed by my GPG key (with both redhat/enovance id).

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,

Sebastien for Software Factory project.
