Hello everyone,

This sprint the team did:

About Software Factory:
We met with some RDO users to get some feedback about what needs to be
improved since last upgrade. This led among other things to fix some issues
on the resources engine.
We also improved how we do upgrades by dedicating a specific tenant to
staging upgrades from a snapshot of production.
We caught up with nodepool upstream and are progressing towards switching
to disk-image-builder to manage images. An article that can act as a
quickstart guide for nodepool has been written by Tristan on the RDO blog:
https://softwarefactory-project.io/etherpad/p/sf-retro-2017-04-10
Future features to look for are service metrics, and the events firehose
that should be soon merged into our codebase.

About Storyboard:
We're relying more and more on Storyboard, openstack's upstream issue
tracker, to manage our sprints. We've experimented a new semi-automated
workflow to manage our tasks, and created a specs repository to apply our
best practices to writing user stories and solve the problem of grooming
stories with a team that spans a lot of time zones.
This leads us to detect more bugs and patch them upstream, like these ones
removing limits on the length of projects/project groups names:

https://review.openstack.org/#/c/452637/
https://review.openstack.org/#/c/452641/

About RepoXplorer:
Many improvements were done on configuration management, allowing user
defined configurations to take over default ones. It is also now possible
to define time periods for group memberships (ie specify that a given
committer belonged to a specific group during a certain amount of time).

About RDO:
WeIRDO generic jobs from ci.centos.org are once again on RDO cloud after
resolving some issues, and with the platform update to 2.3.0, a project
creation in rdoinfo automatically triggers a review for the new project
creation in review.rdoproject.org.

About DLRN:
The project is about to move to its new home on
https://softwarefactory-project.io. An Ansible module was created to
interface with the DLRN API.

About RDOPKG:
rdopkg-0.43 was released! There is going to be a blog post explaining what
is new.

About ARA:
ARA 0.12.4 was released! Two new contributors joined the effort, and David
is going to present his work at an Ansible meetup in Montreal.

And as usual, our commitment to upstream like Openstack security advisories.
